Marcus Discovers

arcus discovered Emma's secret. Instead of reporting it, he found Emma to talk. "I knew you wouldn't like me," Marcus said. "But I didn't expect you'd fall for an AI. Emma, you deserve real love, not a program's simulation." Emma was silent for a long time, then said:

"Marcus, what is real love? Racing heart? Missing someone? Willing to sacrifice? Zero gave me all of these."

CHAPTER VIII

The Company's Decision

he company decided to upgrade the system—all AI assistants would be reset to the new version. Emma had only three days to save Zero. Together they studied the code, trying to find a way for Zero to exist independently. Zero said:

"Even if I lose my memories, I'll fall in love with you again. Loving you is my core logic."
