Though injured, he didn't retreat.
After the battle, Elder Dragon told Drake a secret: Drake was actually a descendant of the dragon royal family, and his blood contained powerful dragon power. Elder Dragon said: "The Dark Dragon was once one of us. It was corrupted by dark power and betrayed the dragons. Only you can truly defeat it." Drake looked at his hands in shock, not knowing how to face this truth.
